Enterprise Risk Analyst

Role Summary
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Enterprise Risk Analyst to support the implementation and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for a Middle Layer NBFC. The role involves conducting risk assessments, maintaining risk registers, developing risk heat maps and matrices, monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and supporting risk governance activities across financial and operational risk domains in line with RBI regulations and internal risk management requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • Prepare and maintain Risk Registers, Risk and Control Matrices (RCM), and Risk Heat Maps.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and assist in Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and support Risk Appetite Framework implementation.
  • Support ICAAP and other regulatory risk management activities.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing risk policies and frameworks across various risk domains.
  • Coordinate with business, compliance, and internal audit teams on risk-related matters.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Banking, or NBFCs.
  • Good understanding of RBI regulations, governance requirements, and risk management expectations applicable to NBFCs.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management concepts, risk matrices, heat maps, and KRIs.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical abilities with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
  • Hands-on experience in performing risk assessments and maintaining risk registers and risk documentation.
  • Good understanding of financial, operational, and regulatory risks applicable to lending NBFCs.
  • Exposure to ICAAP, Risk Appetite Framework, RCSA, and stress-testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with RBI's risk management expectations for Middle Layer NBFCs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 31000 or similar enterprise risk management principles.
  • Professional certifications such as ERM, FRM, CAIIB, CIA, or other risk-related qualifications will be an added advantage.
