Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer (AWS | Automation | Cost Optimization | Security)

About the Role
We are a growing NBFC startup operating in a regulated environment. We are looking for a Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer who can:
  • Manage and scale AWS infrastructure
  • Drive CI/CD & deployment automation
  • Optimize AWS cloud costs
  • Establish and maintain security best practices
  • Represent infrastructure & security controls during audits
This is a hands-on + ownership role with high visibility across engineering, operations, and compliance.
AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Design and manage AWS workloads
  • Work with EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch
  • Ensure HA, backups, and disaster recovery
AWS Cost Optimization
  • Monitor and control AWS spending
  • Implement cost-saving strategies
  • Rightsizing, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances
  • Idle resource cleanup
CI/CD & Automation
  • Build CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate builds, testing, deployments
  • Improve release reliability
Containerization
  • Docker-based deployments
  • Kubernetes (optional)
Cloud Security & Data Protection
  • IAM & least privilege
  • Secrets & key management
  • Encryption & network security
  • Logging & monitoring
Compliance & Audit
  • Handle audits & compliance reviews
  • Explain architecture & security controls
  • Work on risk mitigation
Local Infrastructure
  • Office network security
  • VPN / firewall setup
