Business Development Associate

A Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives.

The role involves lead generation, market research, client communication, and coordinating with internal teams to achieve sales targets.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
Detailed Job Description
  • Sales & Business Development: Generate new business for Forex services including Retail Forex, Corporate Forex, Travel Cards, and Remittances
  • Develop and manage relationships with corporates, travel agents, institutions, and walk-in customers
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments
  • Marketing & Promotion: Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and business tie-ups
  • Coordinate with travel agencies, corporates, colleges, hospitals, exporters, and importers
  • Conduct field visits and client meetings
  • Support branding and visibility activities including events, stalls, and digital promotions
  • Customer Relationship Management: Provide accurate forex product information and quotations
  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely follow-ups
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and retention activities
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to RBI, FEMA, AML/KYC, and company policies
  • Maintain proper documentation and sales records
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and sales reports
  • Coordinate with the operations team for smooth transaction processing
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Knowledge of Foreign Exchange regulations and products preferred
  • Experience in Forex, Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services is an advantage
Experience
  • 3–4 years of experience in Sales & Marketing
  • Experience in Forex / Banking / Financial Services preferred
